We leave the hotel at 18h00 towards the historical center of Quito declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978, our first stop will be in the “Basilica del Voto Nacional”, the highest Neo Gothic church in Latin America, which attracts the attention for its gargoyles which have forms of animals typical of the fauna of Ecuador, then head towards the “Main Square (Plaza Grande)” to make a walking tour of the facades of the Government Palace, Archbishop’s Palace, Cathedral, Municipal Palace, the same ones that shine in the night by the night lights of the city, we continue along Garcia Moreno Street to observe the facades of the Churches “El Sagrario”,”La Compañía de Jesús”,”Antiguo Banco Central”, to get to “San Francisco” being the church and the church, from here we walk about 7 minutes until we reach the street of “La Ronda” where we will see the colonial houses the same that have become small cafes, restaurants, galleries, shops, the same that are visited at night by the Quiteños. Here we can enjoy a typical drink that Quito called “Canelazo”. Afterward, we drive by car to the “Panecillo” 3000 m.a.s.l. (9500 feet) being the best viewpoint in the city of Quito. Then return to the hotel.
